Dunfermline-based Andrew Beveridge recently celebrated 20 years of service with the Co-operative Funeralcare.
The regional manager began his career with the Co-operative at one its food stores in 1980. After a spell in the Army, which involved active service during the Falklands war, Andrew drove buses before deciding on a career in the funeral profession in 1993.
He joined the funeral home in Kirkcaldy as a trainee funeral director before he was promoted to funeral home manager. Beveridge progressed quickly and by 2000 had been appointed to the east of Scotland regional manager position.
Beveridge, who holds a diploma in Funeral Directing and a diploma in Funeral Management, currently serves as national president for the Co-operative Funeral Service Manager’s Association.
